Our little one:)

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.-Author Unknown

My last post was long and I apologize for that but I have so much to share:) So here we are, the proud new owners of a growing baby! Since I am just starting this blog I didn't share any of my 1st trimester, which honestly was a little rough. I had a hard time with morning and all day sickness:( Luckily I had Alex to help me and he has been so understanding. However, now we are in the 2nd trimester and I am finally feeling so much better!! Since we just moved we had to find a new doctor and we had a 16 week ultra sound done and we got to see our little munchkin! He or she was an active little thing and made very dramatic arm movements. Everyone says that our baby is already as dramatic as I am! I just laugh at them! haha. Anyway we are so excited and I can not wait to share our journey with you all! We find out the sex of baby hasenzahl or baby hazy for short on October 3rd!!! Ahhh! I can not wait, and either can my mom! She is dying to go shopping, and honestly I am ok with that! Here is our little drama queen or king! You can see baby's little are bent and on his/her head:)
Mommy and Daddy cant wait to meet you little one! We love you already. Infinite x's and o's!!

The last six months.

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and dong new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. - Walt Disney
I recently stumbled across this quote and I thought it was very fitting for the last six months of my journey. Lets start from the beginning shall we? I had a banking job at the age of 19, and I thought I was a "big" girl. I had always had serving jobs or worked in a restaurant. So here I was 19 all dressed up and ready for my first day of my new "big" girl job. Little did I know that this day would also be the day I met the man that would turn my world upside down. This was the day I met Alex. We worked together a few times and christmas time had come around and it was time for our work christmas party. Alex had hinted at wanting to hang out sometime so I invited him to the party as my "date". We went, he drank and we all laughed and had a great time. From that moment on I knew I wanted to get to know him more and more. So that is what I did, We began to hang out together and then one thing led to another. I found myself on new years eve at one of his friends house parties and when the ball dropped I found myself wrapped up in the arms of the man I now am so in love with:) Enough with all of the mushy gushy talk. We started to date and then before I knew it he had a new job offer in Baltimore, Maryland.
In March of 2013 I had to say goodbye to someone I was falling for and someone I called best friend. Well lets just say we couldn't stay away, and he moved me out there with him:) So there I was in Baltimore, everything was going well. I had made new friends and we lived in a really nice apartment in a nice little town. A few months went by and it was now June 18th, Alex's birthday!!! The big 27:) I had gathered our friends together and we were going to go to the pool, grill out and just have a good time. Well, this was also the day that I peed on 4 yes I said 4 plastic sticks, and to my surprise the all say POSITIVE! Not only did Alex get to have a super awesome birthday with his friends he also got the news that he is going to be a daddy! We were filled with so many emotions, as Im sure pretty much anyone would be. What would our families think? How would we tell them? How were we going to raise a child and teach this child everything it needs to know for the ultimate test we call life. The only things we knew for certain were that we would love our child and each other until the end of time. Oh yeah and that we were moving to Chicago!
When Alex's company transferred to Chicago we thought " Oh man! We can do so many cool things!" Except that wasn't the case, money wasn't as good in Chicago as the company thought so they shipped us to Florida! Miami to be exact, which I didn't like at all! It wasn't all that it is cracked out to be, especially if you are some average joe and not a million dollar celebrity. Anyway once the summer ended, we decided to move just north of Miami to Sarasota to live with my parents:/ UNTIL WE GET ON OUR FEET AND THEN IM OUTTA HERE! haha. I love my parents but I am about to be one of my own so its time to get our own place. I couldn't be more excited to start our own little family.
